230 4BC Friction Hinge

The 230 4BC Friction Hinge (stay) is made of 304 grade austenitic (non-magnetic) stainless steel. It is designed specifically to support and control projecting casement (side hung) sashes with standard-weight, catering up to a maximum sash width of 800mm wide and weighing up to 25kg. |
The hinge can open 90 degrees for full ventilation and a cleaning gap on the hinged edge of the sash allows exterior glass cleaning from the interior.
The friction is factory set so there is no need for on-site adjustments.
The 230 4BC Friction Hinge double stops to resist the forces exerted on the stay in the event of violent over-opening.

Designed for commercial applications catering for a maximum sash width up to 1000mm wide and weighing up to 40kg, the 430 4BC Friction Hinge is made of 304 grade austenitic (non-magnetic) stainless steel. It has been designed with an end-cap docking feature to assist in resistance to negative pressure. |
The hinge can open 90 degrees for full ventilation and a cleaning gap on the hinged edge of the sash allows exterior glass cleaning from the interior.
The friction is factory set so there is no need for on-site adjustments.
The 430 BC Friction Hinge incorporates built-in riser blocks to align the sash in the last few degrees of opening and double stops to resist the forces exerted on the stay in the event of violent over-opening.
