ASSA ABLOY formed a little over 10yrs ago, and already our annual sales amount to around NZD billion. We own over 100 companies in 40 countries around the globe. We are a young multinational, attempting to become the most innovative player in the world security solutions market. We have market leading brands in all our markets. We are growing quickly in the Asia Pacific region with our Head Office in Hong Kong. During the first decade, we focused on growth through acquisitions. Now, we are about to enter a new phase – based on three overriding themes that are subdivided into seven main strategies
Theme 1. Grow our core business
1. Lead the specification markets
2. Develop channels to markets
3. Develop the door and window OEM markets
Theme 2. Expand into new markets and segments
4. Capture and develop consumer opportunities
5. Grow electromechanical door solutions
6. Develop the Asian potential
Theme 3. Radically reduce our break-even cost
7. Capture purchasing and production synergies and adopt Lean methods
We recognize that in order to achieve our long-term aims, we need to choose our future leaders NOW. Consequently, we are highly serious about developing our next generation of leadership talent through our Graduate Programme.
